Google Analytics

IP anonymization

We have activated the IP anonymization feature on this website. Your IP address will be shortened by Google within the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area prior to transmission to the United States. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address sent to a Google server in the US and shortened there. Facebook

Besides the above mentioned analytics service, we also use the Facebook Pixel code in order to gather analytics and create personalized campaigns. It is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA.

The Facebook Pixel service is meant to gather data about the way our users use our website in order to create custom advertising campaigns on the social media platforms owned by Facebook Inc. The data gathered by this service are sent and stored to the Facebook servers located in USA.

Facebook cookies are stored based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour to optimize both its website and its advertising.

7. Newsletter

Newsletter data

If you would like to receive our newsletter, we require a valid email address as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the specified email address and that you agree to receive this newsletter. No additional data is collected or is only collected on a voluntary basis. We only use this data to send the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.

We will, therefore, process any data you enter onto the contact form only with your consent per Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You can revoke consent to the storage of your data and email address as well as their use for sending the newsletter at any time, e.g. through the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The data processed before we receive your request may still be legally processed.

The data provided when registering for the newsletter will be used to distribute the newsletter until you cancel your subscription when said data will be deleted. Data we have stored for other purposes (e.g. email addresses for the members area) remain unaffected.

Mailchimp

This website uses Mailchimp to send newsletters. The supplier is The Rocket Science Group LLC d/b/a Mailchimp, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000 Atlanta, GA 30308 USA. Mailchimp is a service which organizes and analyses the distribution of newsletters. The data you provide (e.g. your email address) to subscribe to our newsletter will be stored on Mailchimp servers in U.S.A.

Sending our newsletters with Mailchimp enables us to analyse the behaviour of newsletter recipients. Among other things, we can find out how many recipients have opened the email containing the newsletter and how often various links contained therein are clicked. With the help of conversion tracking, we can also analyse whether a predefined action (such as the purchase of a product on our website) takes place after clicking on the link in the newsletter. 8. Website chat platform

Tidio

This website is using Tidio, a chat platform that connects users with the customer support of Oradea Tech Hub, provided by Tidio LLC (with its registered office in 180 Steuart St,CA 94119, San Francisco). We are collecting email addresses only with the consent of the users, in order to start the chat. The messages and data exchanged are stored within the Tidio application.

Oradea Tech Hub is not making use of these messages or data other than to follow up on users’ registered issues or inquiries. Your personal data will be processed and transmitted in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.

You also have the right to be forgotten, which means that after you have used our platform you have the right to demand that all of the information collected be deleted. You can do by making an informal request towards us.

9. Events

Eventbrite

For us to facilitate the organization, ticketing and promotion of our events we use the services provided by Eventbrite, Inc. a Delaware corporation with its principal place of business at 155 5th Street, Floor 7, San Francisco, CA 94103, Reg. No. 4742147.

The data collected by this service includes: name, email address and phone number (to establish communication in regards to events) as well as billing information for ticket purchase.

10. Others

Pinterest button

We offer our website visitors the ability to save certain images on our site to their Pinterest account. In order to do so we have installed the “pin button” provided. This button uses cookies to connect our website to your pinterest account.

The data collected is handled by Pinterest Europe Ltd., an Irish company with its registered office at Palmerston House, 2nd Floor, Fenian Street, Dublin 2, Ireland.
