Accesa interns have the chance to work on real projects and gain experience working in Scrum/Agile teams. These internships will facilitate your career growth and prepare you for real work situations. 

Opportunity summary

As an intern, you will gain knowledge about the software development lifecycle from subject-matter experts, and you will have hands-on experiences in a project team. Dedicated mentors will constantly guide you and help you discover how to apply best practices in the field, how to transform theoretical knowledge into scalable projects.

The 8-weeks paid internship program will take place during summer and will have an 8-hour/day format – giving you time to dive into the Accesa culture, learn from our senior colleagues, and discover our self-managed communities of IT experts. The internship will be remote, with the possibility to have face to face sessions.

Your role during this internship program is to enhance the knowledge that you have gained during your study years in order to prepare for your future tech career.

• Learn to design, discuss, clarify, and implement project requirements
• Learn to use our internal project management systems (Agile/Scrum methodologies)
• Participate in team meetings and contributing to discussions on project progress and direction
• Learn and apply coding languages and other technical skills to contribute to ongoing projects
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that technology solutions meet business needs

Qualifications

• Relevant studies with a focus on computer science, IT, engineering  
• General knowledge about Object Oriented Programming (theoretical concepts)
• Knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases
• Good understanding of web basic terminology
• Good knowledge about algorithms
• Analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset
• Availability to work with us full time after the internship
• Effective written and oral communication skills in English (the German language is a plus)
• For Microsoft Administration & Consulting Internship and SAP SuccessFactors Internship, advanced knowledge of German language is mandatory
